Tuning Your Instrument

1. Attach the CT260H to your instrument.
2. Flip the tuner up to turn on the tuner.

When the tuner is powered on, the
display will light.

3. Play a single note on your instrument.

The display will show the name of the

4. While the note is being played, tune your instrument so that the meter points

to the center position and the display back light changes to green. If the note is
flat, the meter will point to the left side of the display. If the note is sharp, the
meter will point to the right side of the display.

5. Tune your instrument to the correct pitch so that the desired note name

appears. Repeat this step for each note or string to be tuned.

Tips for tuning stringed instruments

For best results when tuning a stringed instrument, use a light to medium plucking

volume. Strings will usually go sharp after the initial attack. Plucking the strings too hard

will emphasize this effect.
Pluck the string with the flesh of your thumb. This will produce a note with fewer

overtones for the tuner to process than when using your fingernail or a pick.
If the note is not registering, or the display jumps between notes, try muting the other

stings to eliminate any sympathetic vibrations.
It is recommended that you tune up from a flatter pitch. This reduces any slack in the

instrument’s tuning pegs. If you go too far, loosen the string tension and tune up again.

The CT260H uses one CR2032, 3-volt, lithium

battery. To install or replace the battery, slide the

battery door located on the back of the tuner until

the compartment opens. Place the battery in the

compartment, ensuring that the positive (+) terminal

is facing up (towards you). Replace the battery cover,

until it clicks into place.
The tuner display will dim when the battery is low.

At this point, the battery is depleted and should be

replaced as soon as possible.

Attaching the CT260H

Attach the CT260H tuner to your instrument using the integral clip. Use care when

attaching the tuner to your instrument. Leaving the CT260H attached to your instrument

for a long period of time may hurt or mar the finish. It is recommended that you remove

the tuner when finished playing, or when storing your instrument. If the rubber pads are

missing or broken, do not attach the tuner to your instrument. For stringed instruments,

clip the tuner onto the headstock of the instrument. The tuner can be positioned on

either the front or back of the headstock. For other instruments, you may want to

experiment to determine optimal positioning. The position of the tuner will depend on

the type of instrument.

5.

Accordez votre instrument sur la hauteur correcte de sorte que le nom de la note
souhaitée apparaisse. Répétez cette étape pour chaque note ou corde à accorder.

Conseils pour accorder les instruments à cordes

Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats lors de l'accord d'un instrument à cordes, appliquez un

volume de pincement léger à moyen. Les cordes montent dans les aigües après l'attaque initiale.

Le fait de pincer les cordes trop fort amplifiera cet effet.
Pincez les cordes du bout de votre pouce. Cela produira une note présentant peu de sons

harmoniques pour l'accordeur, comparé à l'utilisation de l'ongle ou d'un médiator.
Si la note n'est pas enregistrée, ou si l'affiche saute d'une note à l'autre, essayez de plaquer les

autres cordes pour éliminer les vibrations sympathiques.
Il est recommandé d'accorder à partir d'une tonalité plus basse. Cela réduit le jeu dans les

chevilles de réglage de l'instrument. Si vous allez trop loin, relâchez la tension sur la corde et

accordez-la à nouveau.

Le CT260H utilise une pile au lithium CR2032 de 3 volts

Pour installer ou remplacer la pile, faites coulisser le

couvercle de la pile situé à l'arrière de l'accordeur jusqu'à

ce que le compartiment s'ouvre. Placez la pile dans le

compartiment, en vous assurant que la borne positive (+)

est orientée vers le haut (vers vous). Replacez le couvercle

de la plie, jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche en place.
L'écran de l'accordeur baisse d'intensité lorsque la pile est

faible. A ce stade, la pile est usée et doit être remplacée

aussi vite que possible.

Fixation du CT260H

Fixez le tuner CT260H sur votre instrument au moyen du clip intégral. Prenez garde lors
de la fixation du tuner sur votre instrument. Si vous laissez le CT260H fixé sur votre instru-
ment pendant une période prolongée, vous risquez d'abîmer ou d'endommager la finition. Il
est recommandé de retirer le tuner lorsque vous arrêtez de jouer ou que vous rangez votre
instrument. Si les patins en caoutchoucs sont manquants ou abîmés, ne fixez pas le tuner
sur votre instrument. Pour les instruments à cordes, fixer le tuner sur la tête de l'instru-
ment. Il est possible de positionner le tuner sur la face avant ou arrière de la tête. Pour les
autres instruments, vous pouvez effectuer des tests afin de trouver la position optimale. La
position de l'accordeur dépend du type d'instrument.

Stimmen Sie Ihr Instrument so, dass die gewünschte Note angezeigt wird.
Wiederholen Sie diesen Schritt für jede Note oder Saite, die gestimmt werden soll.

Tipps zum Stimmen von Saiteninstrumenten

Die besten Ergebnisse beim Stimmen werden bei leichter bis mittlerer Zupflautstärke erzielt.

Nach dem ersten Anschlagen erzeugen die Saiten normalerweise den Kreuzton. Wenn sie zu

hart angeschlagen werden, verstärkt sich dieser Effekt.
Schlagen Sie die Saiten nur mit dem Daumen an. Dadurch ertönt eine Note mit weniger

Obertönen, die das Stimmgerät leichter verarbeiten kann, als wenn Sie mit dem Fingernagel

oder dem Plektrum zupfen.
Wenn die Note nicht erkannt wird oder die Anzeige zwischen zwei Noten wechselt, versuchen

Sie, die anderen Saiten ruhig zu halten, um Nebenschwingungen zu unterbinden.
Es wird empfohlen, von tief nach hoch zu stimmen. Damit werden eventuelle

Spannungsverluste der Saiten in den Wirbeln des Instruments abgebaut. Wenn Sie zu

stark gespannt haben, lösen Sie die Seite und wiederholen Sie den Stimmvorgang erneut,

Das Stimmgerät CT260H besitzt eine CR2032

Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite des Geräts

die Batterie so ein, dass der Pluspol (+) nach oben (zu

Ihnen) zeigt. Schieben Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung

wieder zurück, bis sie einrastet.
Ein abgedunkeltes Display des Geräts zeigt an, dass der

Batterieladestand unzureichend ist. In diesem Fall ist

die Batterie leer und muss schnellstmöglich ersetzt werden.

CT260H anbauen

Befestigen Sie das Stimmgerät CT260H mit dem integrierten Clip an Ihrem Instrument.

Gehen Sie dabei vorsichtig vor, um nichts zu beschädigen. Lassen Sie das CT260H nicht

über längere Zeit an Ihrem Instrument angebaut, da ansonsten der Lack beschädigt

werden könnte. Es wird empfohlen, das Stimmgerät abzubauen, wenn Sie das Instrument

nicht spielen oder es verstauen. Wenn die Gummiauflagen defekt sind oder fehlen, darf

das Stimmgerät nicht am Instrument befestigt werden. Bei Saiteninstrumenten wird das

Stimmgerät an der Kopfplatte befestigt. Das Stimmgerät kann sowohl auf der Vorderseite

als auch auf der Rückseite der Kopfplatte angebaut werden. Bei anderen Instrumenten

können Sie die optimale Position des Stimmgeräts ggf. durch Probieren selbst bestimmen.

Die Anordnung des Stimmgeräts hängt von der Art des Musikinstrument ab.

Consejos para afinar instrumentos de cuerdas

Para un mejor resultado al afinar un instrumento de cuerdas, utilice un volumen de

punteo ligero a medio. Las cuerdas generalmente sonarán agudas luego del ataque

inicial. El punteo muy fuerte de las cuerdas acentuará este efecto.
Puntee la cuerda con la yema del dedo pulgar. Esto producirá una nota que el afinador

procesará con menos sobretonos que cuando se utiliza la uña del dedo o una púa.
Si no se registra la nota o la pantalla salta entre tonos, trate de silenciar las otras cuerdas

para eliminar cualquier vibración simpática.
Es recomendable hacer la afinación a partir de un tono más grave. Esto reduce cualquier

flojedad en las clavijas de afinación del instrumento. Si se excede demasiado, afloje la

tensión de la cuerda y afine nuevamente.

El CT260H utiliza una batería de litio CR2032,

3-volt. Para instalar o reemplazar la batería, corra la

puerta de la batería ubicada en la parte posterior

del afinador hasta que se abra el compartimento.

Coloque la batería en el compartimento, asegurando

que el extremo positivo (+) mire hacia arriba (hacia

usted). Reemplace la cubierta de la batería hasta que

ésta haga clic en el lugar.
La pantalla del afinador se oscurecerá cuando la

batería esté baja. En este punto, la batería está

Sujeción del CT260H

Sujete el afinador CT260H a su instrumento utilizando el clip incorporado. Tenga cuida-

do al sujetar el afinador a su instrumento. Dejar el CT260H sujeto a su instrumento por

un largo período de tiempo puede dañar o deteriorar el acabado. Se recomienda retirar

el afinador cuando haya dejado de reproducir o cuando guarde su instrumento. Si

faltan las almohadillas de caucho o están rotas, no sujete el afinador al instrumento. Para

instrumentos de cuerda, sujete el afinador con el clip al cabezal del instrumento. El afina-

dor se puede colocar en la parte delantera o trasera del cabezal. Para otros instrumentos,

posiblemente desee probar para determinar la posición óptima. La posición del afinador

dependerá del tipo de instrumento.

Accordare lo strumento alla giusta altezza in modo che compaia il nome della nota
desiderata. Ripetere questo passaggio per ciascuna nota o corda da accordare.

Consigli per accordare strumenti a corda

Per ottenere i migliori risultati al momento di accordare uno strumento a corde, servirsi di

un volume di pizzicata da leggero a medio. Solitamente le corde saranno accordate dopo

l'attacco iniziale. Pizzicando le corde con troppa forza, questo effetto verrà enfatizzato.
Pizzicare le corde con il polpastrello del pollice. Ciò produrrà una nota con meno toni

armonici da elaborare per l'accordatore rispetto all'uso delle unghie o del plettro.
Se la nota non si registra o il display salta da una nota all'altra, provare a silenziare le altre

corde per evitare qualsiasi vibrazione simpatica.
Si consiglia di accordare partendo da un tono più basso. Ciò riduce il gioco a livello delle

chiavette dello strumento. Se si esagera, allentare la tensione e accordare di nuovo.

Il CT260H impiega una batteria al litio CR2032, da 3

volt. Per installare o sostituire la batteria, far scorrere

lo sportello dello scomparto batterie situato sulla

parte posteriore dell'accordatore fino all'apertura

dello scomparto stesso. Collocare la batteria nello

scomparto, assicurandosi che il terminale positivo (+)

sia rivolto verso l'alto (verso l'utilizzatore). Riposizionare

il coperchio dello scomparto batterie, fino a farlo

scattare in posizione.
Quando la batteria è scarica, il display dell'accordatore

si offusca. Quando la batteria è scarica, va sostituita al più presto.

Come fissare il CT260H

Fissare l'accordatore CT260H allo strumento servendosi della clip integrata. Prestare atten-

zione al momento di fissare l'accordatore allo strumento. Lasciando il CT260H attaccato allo

strumento per un lungo periodo di tempo si potrebbe danneggiare o rovinare la finitura. Si

consiglia di rimuovere l'accordatore una volta finito di suonare o al momento di riporre lo

strumento. In caso di assenza o di rottura dei cuscinetti in gomma, non fissare l'accordatore

allo strumento. Nel caso di strumenti a corda, fissare l'accordatore alla paletta dello

strumento stesso. L'accordatore può essere osizionato sulla parte anteriore o sulla parte

posteriore della paletta. Per altri strumenti, sperimentare varie posizioni per stabilire quella

ottimale. La posizione dell'accordatore dipenderà dal tipo di strumento.
